Kristen Buckley

Born in NYC raised in NJ (big family).  Moved back (i.e. escaped) to NYC at 18.  Went to music school (guitar). Quit (long story). Played music for a while (i.e. was broke). Went to Hunter College (mom thrilled).  Dropped out (mom not so thrilled).  Worked as waitress, intern, production assistant, intern (again), development assistant, book scout, director of development, and finally screenwriter.  Moved to LA, continued screenwriting, also worked as novelist, memoirist, and on again-off again online magazine entrepreneur (The Grange Hall).
